Innkeepers Race Series

Registration

The Bromley Mountain Innkeepers Race Series returns for another year! We’re stoked to welcome all racers back to the mountain this season. Requirements? A competitive streak and desire to get on the mountain every Wednesday starting in January.

Who: You, Your friends, neighbors, co-workers, skiers or snowboarders. A team of 4 – 5 people (max of 5! Please start a new team if you have over 5 competitors). Teams will be scored by the top 3 out of 5 runs by their team members on each race day.

When: Race every Wednesday, January 8th through March 5th (no race February 19th, pass is not valid). Take your race run between 9:30am and 11:30 am. Pass is valid Non-Peak* every Wednesday January 8th through the end of the season.

How Much: $875 total ($775 team race fee and $100 team Bromley Outing Club membership). That’s only $175 each for a full team! Registration will close on or before December 31st – we expect the league to sell out again this season (50 teams max). We are planning for 8 race days, an awesome end of season party with a fun race (head-to-head dual format), commemorative T-shirt and awards, plus skiing or boarding on Wednesdays! Already a Bromley passholder? Pay $50 less per passholder in registration.

Racing Format: New this season, we will provide teams an opportunity to race in either our “Competition Class”,  or “Citizen’s Class” for each of the three team types. We will have results for ski only teams, snowboard only teams, and mixed discipline teams. We will contact team captains in December to identify the class which your team will race in. Athletes are encouraged to inspect the course prior to their run. Every athlete is allowed only one timed run.

Where: Upper East Meadow is where we will race, and the rest of the mountain is yours for free skiing all day. The Wild Boar Tavern is the spot for lunch, brews and social.

Additional Program Highlights:

  •  Innkeeper Burger & Beer special in the Wild Boar Tavern on race days.
  •  Visit the Wild Boar Tavern every Wednesday after your race to be entered into the end of season party for some amazing prizes. The more you visit, the more chances you get to win.

Questions? Please contact the Bromley Outing Club at 802.824.6498, or boc@bromleyoutingclub.com, for more race info.

Details about your Innkeepers Pass:  Valid Wednesdays, 9am – 4pm, January 8th through the end of the season, non-peak. Non-transferable.
If a race must be cancelled due to weather, we will make every effort to post that information to the Snow Report and on the Base Lodge doors by 8:15am on race days. Your pass will still be valid, even if the race is cancelled.

Additional Training for Innkeepers Participants
The Bromley Outing Club may offer training for participants on one morning during the week (Tuesday or Thursday). If you or your team may have interest in this and would like to learn more, please email Mike Healy at mike@bromleyoutingclub.com
